Individuals will develop tools to foster a campus culture that reflects the elements of inclusive organizations. The purpose of the course is to create work environments that allow each UW employee to prosper and thrive personally and professionally.
Having attended the course, participants will be able to - Identify personal and social identities in order to identify their dominant and subordinate group membership - Identify ways to demonstrate inclusive behavior - Identify and define microaggressions and unconscious bias - Describe the benefits of diversity and inclusion and how inclusion can create a healthier workplace.
