Interested in recruiting excellent and diverse IT applicants? Focusing on IT recruitments, and relevant to all types of recruitments, this interactive session introduces you to some tips and tools for conducting an effective search and screen process. This is the second session in a series of three presentations on recruiting and retaining women in IT. You did not need to attend the first session to attend this session! While the first session focused on attracting a diverse applicant pool, this session provides an overview of the recruitment timeline and focuses on the screening and interview process. We'll revisit unconscious bias and take a closer look at how it applies to screening applicants. Don't miss out on these essential tips to help you with diversifying your IT workforce! Beverages and desserts provided. Speaker: Trisha Wollenzien, DoIT Human Resources - Recruitment Coordinator. Women in IT events are open to all those interested in the success and retention of women working with IT on the UW-Madison campus.
